I’m hanging out a sign for Help Wanted: 4 Kanbassadors to try on my new leggings. They’re in a light weight bamboo jersey micro stripe. And, they have the trademark COKANNA wide and comfy waistband. They’ll make a great addition to your Spring/Summer capsule wardrobe!
What I really need though is your help with sizing. I found with the Joy bamboo pocket pant that the Size 1(S) and 2(M) fit according to size. But, women who normally wear a Size 4(XL) were going down a size to the 3(L). The Size 4 seems to fit more like a 2X in the waist with a narrow leg. So, more like a legging. They work best on an apple body shape.
I’ve marked the Size 4’s down to 50% OFF. If this is your size and shape, then please take advantage of this great deal: soft and breathable bamboo pants locally made right here in Ottawa, Ontario. There are 3 colours available: black, charcoal and navy; and 3 lengths: Petite 28″, Regular 31″, and Tall 35″.

For this year’s bamboo leggings and pants, I really want to get the sizing right. I know it’s hard to fit everyone, but I’d like to be as true to size as possible. The good thing about 4-way stretch bamboo is that it has excellent give and recovery.
So, on the advice of my local manufacturer, The Bobbins Production Studio, I’ve decided to do a sample run of all 4 sizes of the new leggings:
- 1 (S) fits 4 to 6
- 2 (M) fits 8 to 10
- 3 (L) fits 12 to 14
- 4 (XL) fits 16 to 18

Now this is where you come in. If you’re in the Ottawa area and can drop by my home studio in Kanata, you can try on a pair of leggings. Then you can take them home and wear them for a day or two, even wash them. After that, you bring them back and give me your feedback. I’m interested in how they fit. Are they true to size? And, of course, I welcome any other feedback you may have. I’m always looking for ways to improve my designs to better meet your needs.
The only caveats are: 1) Leggings need to be tested and back to me in 1-2 days, and 2) Your permission to take photos of you in the leggings to use on social media and on my website.
So, that’s it. Easy peasy. Plus, I’ll have a surprise gift for each of the 4 Kanbassadors. I’m not sure what that will be yet, but I promise you’ll like it!
To apply for a Kanbassador spot, please send me an email at colleen@cokanna.ca and state your size. I hope to have the leggings here in the next week or so.
Thank you so much for your help! Can’t do this crazy business of mine without you!
Until next time,
~ Colleen

Hi Colleen, I was just wondering if you could save me a Carolyn bamboo dress. Size medium Color pink. Maybe we could do lunch near your house then I could try your dress. This would be after Easter as my Adrien is away for 2 week. Talk soon
