Hallelujah, I’m on vacation! By the time you’re reading this, I should be relaxing at my sister’s place in my hometown of Thunder Bay. And if I’m not, well then, there’s probably a story for another blog post.

It’s been a very busy and exhausting year. I took on 2 part-time jobs, plus a contract position, while still running my business. I’m a little tired and creatively drained. So, there’s no better place to recoup and reenergize than going home. I get to gripe, complain, and let all the feels out with my sister and soak up her calm and peaceful energy. It’s the best way for me to unwind. I also get to visit with old friends.

In the meantime, my Summer Blowout Sale is still going strong. Thank you to everyone who has taken advantage of the sale so far. You’re the best! I could not do this without you.

Even though I’ve sold out of quite a few colours and sizes, there’s still lots of great deals to be had. Please take a look, or a 2nd and 3rd look. You’re likely to find something from a $15 bamboo fleece toque with recycled fur pompom for, dare I say, the winter…

…to a lightweight grown-up style hoodie with bamboo leggings for year round dressing at half the price.

You can easily order online right here and have it shipped to your door:

Summer Blowout Sale

Please note, your order will not be shipped out until after the 10th of July when I’m back in Ottawa.

If you’re in the Ottawa area and would like to do a local pickup to avoid the shipping charges, simply go down to the shipping section when checking out, click on “calculate shipping” and enter your postal code. The local pickup option will automatically pop up for you.

And, don’t forget to pass the word on. I always say “word-of-mouth” is the best advertising especially for small businesses. In fact, I just heard from a brand new customer in Toronto who found out about me from another customer in Newfoundland. See…the power of word-of-mouth. Thank you, Pam and Leslie!

Have a Happy Canada Day long weekend everyone! Remember one way to celebrate is to shop Canadian made and support your local small businesses wherever you are.

P.S. Tune in next week and I’ll show you a sample of the new tunic I’m dropping this Fall.

Until next time,

~ Colleen
