Tired of winter

It seems to me the weather has been all over the map this winter. From above seasonal temperatures to -40ºC. From rain to freezing rain to big dumps of snow. We never know what we’re going to get.

Or maybe it’s always like this? I just forget from one year to the next. Regardless, I’m ready for Spring. So, I’m going to coax Mother Nature along with my tired-of-winter pre-spring markdowns.

50% off rack

Some of the items have been on the 50% off rack for a while. So this is a reminder to take another look and see if there’s anything left in your size. Typically the sizes at both ends of the range are the ones left on the rack. If it’s not your size, then please pass it on to someone you know who might be just the right size. You can’t beat the price for good quality, locally and ethnically made bamboo clothing.

Carolyn reversible bamboo dress

If you’re heading somewhere warm, or you’re just dreaming of warmer days, then the Carolyn reversible bamboo dress might be just what you’re looking for. It travels well, has a soft & silky feel, is breathable, and has pockets. And the added bonus, you can wear it both ways so it’s like having 2 dresses in 1. You can wear the V-neck in front or flip it around and wear the round neck in front.

Carolyn Dress

Here’s what customers have to say about the Carolyn:

“I love my Carolyn dress. It’s a staple in my wardrobe and I don’t think there’s any other item that gets more mileage than this dress. The quality is excellent and the fit is flattering. It’s comfortable and so incredibly versatile. I wear it with my Birkenstocks as a sundress. I wear it with heels and pearls for a night out. And I always feel pretty in it. ~ Raquel Seward Beesley from Smith Falls

“I absolutely love the Carolyn dress. The neckline & armholes are perfect for concealing scars. Length is perfect for me. Your products are wonderful & so needed.” ~ Lois from Ontario

“The Carolyn dress is so comfortable. I will get a lot of use out of it!!  I love the feel of the fabric on my skin. So soft!” ~ Kathleen from Ottawa

Maxine reversible bamboo tank

Now’s also a great time to stock up on capsule wardrobe basics. I have the Maxine reversible bamboo tank in classic black and white. They have the same reversible neckline as the Carolyn dress. They’re an easy fit with a shorter length and side seam slits. And the best hidden feature…an inner liner.

Lindsay bamboo cardirobe

I’ve also added some new items to the 50% off rack. The LIndsay bamboo cardirobe in Midnight Black, Silky Blue, and Fiery Fuchsia are all half price. This will be the most versatile piece in your wardrobe. Throw it on as a robe to lounge around at home, as a quick cover-up at the beach, a grab & go cardi to run out to the store, or even an elegant coat for the office or evening out.

The 3/4 length and drop shoulder make it comfortable and easy to wear. The self-tie belt keeps the robe crossed over and closed in front. Or, you can loosely tie it in the back. Or, remove the belt altogether. And, of course, it features deep front pockets because we all love pockets.

Check out the sizes I have left at half price, and I even have a few in petite.

One-off pieces

Finally there are a few one-off pieces hanging on the 50% rack: Claire zip-up jacket and the Joy pocket pants. Take a look. You may just pick up a bargain for yourself, a friend or family member.

In the meantime, I’m here waiting for Spring….

Until next time,
