Back by popular request. You can now pre-order the Joan Bamboo Trousers. Once again, as a Keeping Abreast subscriber, you get VIP front of the line status. You have 3 days advance notice before it goes out to the general public on September 15th.
Why should you be front of the line
Two weeks ago, I dropped the Pamela bamboo hoodie for pre-order and sold out of the forest teal in the 1st day. And, that was just to my newsletter subscribers. They never even made it to the general public. The good news, I’m adding more Forest Teal to the line up. So, grab one now if you missed it the first time round! It’s likely to go just as quickly this time round.
Getting back to the Joan pants! They’re available in 2 classic go-with-anything colours: midnight black and charcoal grey. And, they come in 4 sizes from Size 1(S) right up to Size 4(XL).
Here’s the size chart for easy reference:
Looks like a dress pant
This classic style is the one that looks most like a dress pant but with the comfort and stretch of bamboo. They’re generously cut with an untapered fit. They have the signature COKANNA wide comfy waistband and no pockets for a smooth uncluttered look.
The Joan pant was inspired by Joan Woodrooffe who wanted a looser and more comfortable fit to accommodate mobility issues. Yet, still looked dressy enough to wear to work. Btw, Joan has had both knees replaced and she still enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, and figure skating.
Add to your fall capsule wardrobe
The Joan is another great addition to your Fall capsule wardrobe. They’re your all-purpose pant. Wear them for work or play. Wear them with any of my bamboo tops or jackets. And if you don’t own one yet, then wait for the matching cropped cardi coming up next for pre-order.
Like all my clothes, they’ll take you right through your day and right through the seasons. This medium-weight bamboo French terry is soft, breathable, and thermal regulating. It will keep you warm in the cool weather, and cool in the warm weather. They’re easy to care for, machine wash in cold water and hang to dry.
A great price
The price is $129 + tax for a classic no nonsense pair of pants that will keep you in style for years to come. They’re Canadian-made, ethically made, and locally made at The Bobbins Production Studio in Ottawa, Ontario.
Don’t miss out on this final run of the Joan bamboo trousers. I’ve had customers tell me they want multiple pairs. Delivery will be mid to late October.
Until next time,
