“In my eagerness to create a legacy of some kind, sometimes I need to remind myself that just BEING and not always DOING is okay too.” ~ Vesna Zic-Cotê
Maxine Valiquette passed away peacefully on July 17, 2020 at the tender age of 51. She had metastatic breast cancer. She was a role model in all ways possible, and a strong believer in integrative cancer care.
What does it mean to be an advocate for the Metastatic Breast Cancer (MCB) community? Vesna Zic-Coté knows this well. She advocates to raise awareness and bring about change. And she advocates for herself and her family because she wants to live.
