Welcome to 2023! The Year of the Rabbit, the Water Rabbit. It’s a great year to learn, persevere, and achieve. With the dedication of the Rabbit and the push of the running current of the water, 2023 is a good year to master new ideas. It’s a year for personal growth and for cultivating relationships. I’ll take it!
I don’t know exactly what this year will bring, but I do know it will bring change.
2022 was busy. I took on 2 part-time jobs as well as running COKANNA. It turned out to be a bit crazier than I had anticipated and would have liked, but I survived. It’s knowledge and experience gained for how I want to approach this next year.
I have a few ideas brewing for my business. I will be selling off my current capsule wardrobe designs so keep an eye out for events.
I’m starting a new phase of the COKANNA Virtual Coffee Shop in which I hope to run more in-person coffee shops. Maybe it’s part of that “cultivating relationships” in the Year of the Rabbit! I do know I feel the push to meet face-to-face and feel the presence of others around me rather than through a zoom screen.
As for the COKANNA brand, I feel I’m not quite done with it yet. It can’t exist in its present form so I’m opening up to new ways of doing business. I will share with you in the near future to get your valuable input as always.
For now, this is another short and sweet blog post to simply wish you a happy healthy new year full of possibility and growth.
Until next time,
~ Colleen

I’m a recovering Chartered Accountant and Breast Cancer Champion turned Fashion Designer. My COKANNA Canadian-made bamboo clothing is all about comfort and style. Giving back to the community is important to me so I support local breast cancer organizations who treat the whole person and not just the disease.
I thought I would adopt the theme of “lightening-up” for this year, following a serious few years. I think that could serve all of us. I look forward to seeing how this year unfolds for you and your business. Reinvention is is the air. Blessings,
Happy New Year, Betty! After the last few years, lightening-up does sound good. I look forward to whatever 2023 brings.
Thank you for the reminder and the encouragement for the coming year. I am a Rabbit – albeit from the Metal (Golden) tribe. Wishing you lots of success in whatever you decide will most enhance your life.
Happy Year of the Rabbit, Nancy! Thanks so much for your good wishes and I wish you health and happiness in 2023.
