What to do with extra pompoms? Well..I think I’ll just give them away. If you previously purchased a bamboo toque from me, then you’ve already selected your favourite pompom.

And now you can get an extra pompom or 2 for free. Remember these pompoms are all handmade and recycled from pre-loved fur coats. There are raccoon ones, some black mink, and two green muskrat ones. Take your pick.

And just in case you missed out on getting a warm and cozy bamboo fleece toque, I have some sample ones for $5. Keep in mind, they’re different sizes, but not labelled because they’re samples. I was playing around with design and sizing. There could be one that fits your head perfectly. They roughly measure from 21″ to 21.5″ in circumference and remember this does not take into account the stretchiness of the bamboo fabric.

I have 3 black toques available with the opening for the removable fur pompom. There is one golden yellow one in a larger size, measuring about 23″. If you think you have a big head, then this one has your name on it. And finally I have 2 black toques with no opening so they’re pompomless. But, you can still take a pompom and sew it on yourself.

The toques are only $5 and the pompoms are free.

If you have your own non-COKANNA pompom hat and would like to have a different pompom, then please, hit me up. Or if you’re knitting a hat and would like to add a fur pompom, come and pick one. They’re all free to good homes!

So, would you like a free pompom, or a $5 toque, or both? Send me a message at colleen@cokanna.ca, or on Facebook, or Instagram. Then you can drop by my home studio in Kanata. You can also have them shipped, but FYI the shipping fee is $12 within the Ottawa area, and $18 everywhere else in Canada.

Stay warm and cozy out there!

Until next time,

~ Colleen
