Holiday wishes

Wishing you a safe and happy holiday season as we head into the home stretch. It’s another year of Covid with a new variant and further restrictions. I’m tired, we’re all tired, and we just need to keep hanging in there for a while longer. In the grand scheme of things, it’s really just a blip in our lives. I’m grateful vaccines are available, my family is healthy, get togethers can still happen in small numbers, and you’re supporting local small businesses this season.

Last minute shopping

I’m here and available for last minute shopping up until the 24th for those of you local to the Ottawa area. You can order online at COKANNA. When you get to the checkout page, scroll down to the shipping section and enter your postal code. Then the option for free Local Pickup in Kanata will automatically be selected for you. If you prefer to pay $10 for delivery, I can personally hand deliver to your door up until the morning of the 24th.

My door is open

If you’d like to drop by my home studio, you’re welcome to do that too. I just ask that you be double vaxxed and wear a mask to enter the building. I may be in the midst of baking and wrapping presents. So, as long as you don’t mind a bit of chaos, I have a separate change room to try things on. There may even be some baked goodies and a hot cup of coffee or tea waiting for you. Email me at if you’d like to make an appointment.

Insider surprise

Psst…as a loyal Keeping Abreast subscriber, there’s an insider surprise coming on December 26th. I’ve decided to run an old-fashioned one day Boxing Day Sale. Keep your eye on your email this week for details.

Please stay safe and enjoy all that we have to be thankful for this holiday season.

Until next time,

~ Colleen
